SOPHIA RANKIN – MD/FF AMBASSADOR

Sophia Rankin is entering her third year as a Fusion Dance Fest Cast member.  She participated in FDF 2019 and FDF Online 2020, served as U.S. coordinator for Fusion Fighters Synergy workshops, and performed in Fusion’s Amazon Artists/ Rainforest Trust and Black Lives Matter online advocacy projects.

Sophia is especially proud to have co-organized Fusion’s “Be the Voice” charity video campaign, which has raised $6000 in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Sophia dances for the McGrath Morgan Academy of Irish Dance in Bethesda, Maryland.  She is a 2-time Southern Region Oireachtas champion and 8-time world qualifier.
